B1G either needs to put better match ups on these Friday Night games, or just get rid of it altogether. Iowa vs. UCLA is about as dry as it gets

the bigger schools have requested not to play on fridays.
i remember seeing an article on about friday game at nebraska. they had to shut down classes for the day
that was a huge inconvenience for the school

Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel, speaking earlier this month on the school's "Conqu'ring Heroes" podcast, said the Wolverines would not be hosting Friday night games. Other Big Ten schools with massive stadiums, such as Ohio State and Penn State, have resisted hosting Friday games. This season, six Big Ten schools don't play on Fridays, while six others will play two Friday contests, including first-year members USC, Washington and Oregon.

I'm sure the game day will experience for a a random Friday game is pretty shyt. Ticket holders are working and need to rush over there. Minimal tailgating, etc.

I don’t care If they get rid of it.

Looks like they've pushed much of the hosting responsibilities onto the newcomers

And I guess no one would watch ucla vs Iowa if it's on Saturday competing with 15 other games.
