Did Florida St try to go after Cam Ward???

Cam after his visit wanted nothing to do with them, he knew what it was.. But he did visit after Miami, his choice came down to Miami or NFL. He initially chose NFL draft but then it was soo many QBs he fell in pecking order and looked like he would be mid round pick (obviously on draft night there was a run on QBs so he woulda went sooner but had to make decision in jan.)

His pops was VERY involved in process and he wanted to see who would be around him and he wanted a oline that could protect him and weapons with a good defense. Plus our OC has Air Raid back ground and he played in similar system all 4 years in college (he followed his coach who was at incarnate to WSU Eric Morris slot wr and coach for leach at texas tech) so he would be able to pick up offense quickly. We returned alot of production and had 2 800+ yard wr (grabbed another for three total) Plus we had the money to make it make sense
