If a 13-1 team who only lost one game by 3 points to Nick Saban on a neutral field is mediocre then what does that make a team that finished with a worst record at 12-2….?

At the convenient mental gymnastics . UGA played a one game season and lost the one game and wasn't even impressive. And it wasn't even the usual Saban squads.

I'll join the mental gymnastics Olympics. You can't rank them ahead of Bama, and you can't rank Bama ahead of Michigan or Texas. You could possibly argue UW, but then UW beat Texas so you can't rank Texas over UW thus you can't rank UGA over them either. So after all that how you come to the decision that UGA was the second best team last year despite not making the playoffs or even winning a down SEC conference last year is beyond me.

But some of you like to root for undeserving teams winning hypothetical games they never played.

should have done it when its 4,

now they have a guaranteed spot, I don't see the point its easier to get into a top 12 or 14


Also, a lot of people don't pay attention to the NIT Tournament or FCS playoffs, why would they watch a G5 playoff?

We aren’t really paying up front like that, and it’s probably for the best, a lot of programs are getting burned doing that
