Historically there's 8 CFB blue bloods:Not to nitpick but Penn State isn't a blue blood
Yeah, I get what you meant though. They are a top tier program, I don't deny that.eh, not a point worth arguing, fair enough
Agree although I'm not sure if Nebraska can be replaced. And if they do, if UGA will be the one to do it.Historically there's 8 CFB blue bloods:
ND
OSU
scUM
Texas
OU
USC
Bama
Nebraska
Nebraska about 1 more generation from being replaced with UGA
I have this CFB encyclopedia that ranked all the programs in D1, but this was circa 2005 or 06, so it'd have a lot of changes, b/c ND was #1, SC was #2 and Bama was #3...and Bama would be the clear #1 now
Fair. more of nebraska getting booted than replaced...How long can they win 6-9 games (or less) before they lose their status?Agree although I'm not sure if Nebraska can be replaced. And if they do, if UGA will be the one to do it.
If Kirby goes on a Saban like run for as many years as Saban did maybe. But historically UGA has been above average to great, but only really a few years in the 80s and Kirby (2017-2023) were they really elite like that.
Remember when they said we aren’t built for the SEC maybe they were right we just built for playoff runs@Bigwhite2498 @dtownreppin214
Crazy how we switch conferences and immediately we have to carry them on our back.
Not winning the SEC was a benefit, play clemson and ASU and build momentum. Rather than have a month off and play NDRemember when they said we aren’t built for the SEC maybe they were right we just built for playoff runs

Or if they do who would replace them. I guess they could lose their status, but it would take a while.
Game hasn't been played long enough for that to happen yet.
Oh definitely, I think after time it could definitely happen too, but we'll be or : by the time it doesThere are teams like Minnesota that have 6 titles that have no status at all, it could happen. But I agree it likely won't

I think it might be a bit soon to remove Nebraska.Nebraska is no more of a blue blood at this point than Minnesota is
I'd say Blue bloods are
