Why is the interest so low in a home playoff game?

@Numpsay mentioned before the amount of games in a close proximity (Conf title game + playoff)

Is it due to being so close to Christmas? Affecting travel plans, plus students being home for break (PSU in the middle of fukking nowhere so not close to where most students' families). @Lucky_Lefty you were saying all this a couple pages back too.

Weather shouldn't be that big of a factor....Steelers and Eagles still selling out regular season games in the same climate currently.

I remember the post about hotels taxing $1300/night, that has to factor it too.

PSU in particular is in a tougher spot geographically. Look at OSU, they're in the biggest city in the state, and Columbus is within 2 hours of Cleveland & Cincy. ND vs. IU is an in-state thing, IU fans don't have to travel far, and they're just happy to be in a playoff game so they'll join in. South Bend is also ~90 mins from Chicago which is a huge alumni base for both schools + casuals.

Gotta think of it outside of football terms. Kids have to get enrolled at their new schools. That can't happen in late January. Only real fix is to eliminate the winter portal period and just have the one in the Spring.
Or offer special consideration, if the team you on goes to the playoffs or goes deep

Special consideration from who? College registrar offices for late enrollment, professor's when the player has already missed weeks of class, etc. Should they be bending the knee to the football program?

Talked to some Wolverine fans in my family and they said they want Ohio State to win the national title since they beat us. I'm quite sure Wolverines on this board are gonna be rooting for the Buckeyes too.

Buckeyes and Wolverines together, now you know you in trouble:wow:

:comeon: Lets be real buck...your entire family abandoned you in the last 5 years because of how bad you crash out after each osu loss, and more so, because of much of an untrustworthy dirtbag you are. Thie entire story is a lie, clearly. But this is to be expected...

crazy how everything is just so unsatisfactory for just of the most unimportant shyt in College Football now. Bozo mad because tickets arent high in just some next level crazy
Right like that should be a good thing. It’s like people are programmed now into thinking high prices mean it’s gonna be the best atmosphere
