The only thing they have to do, is just make a law that puts numbers on paper, mf thinking you a 2nd string from uga so you gon get 2-4 m’s nikka please, it has to start getting on paper to lower expectations and regulate the market, like i said a while back avg mf not getting over 200 bucks, but hearing some guy got a check got folks thinking why not them, whole time dude might have only got 10 racks
This is the only thing that needs to happen. You can't set a salary cap because you can't limit corporate NIL. And even if you did set one, teams would just start cheating under the table again. Anything the NCAA/schools try and implement will likely just be challenged in court and they'll lose. Just gotta get used to the new way of college football.

To the bolded part no because you can’t enforce it so it’s really a useless rule. I agree with the rest of your statement. I’m just saying if they want to stop it then do a cba and actually revenue share not make up so imaginary number.
That's an on the books law passed by the Missouri legislature and signed by the Governor. NCAA can't rule that invalid, that has to be done by the courts.

Missouri allows high school athletes to earn NIL (name, image, and likeness) benefits if they sign with an in-state school:

  • Eligibility: High school athletes can earn NIL benefits if they sign a written agreement with an in-state school, such as a letter of intent or financial aid agreement.

  • Restrictions: Athletes must sign a letter of intent to attend a public university in Missouri.

  • Prohibitions: The NCAA is prohibited from investigating signees over their NIL benefits.
It's basically a cheat code for the state flagship school cause it's the only game in town. This wasn't put in place to save the football program at Washington University in St. Louis or Lindenwood

I mean.. your head is in the right place .. pause.. but the 2nd part of your post answers your question. There's never gonna be major penalties anymore. Its too much money involved here.

I mean.. for tax purposes.. isnt that info supposed to be readily accessible?

That was the Sicario theme. Which made it that much more sick.

Yeah but a kid in Tennessee may not see the actual taxes of the kid in Georgia who allegedly got the big money
