I really wonder where the sport will be in 10 years. The idea of having just two super conferences sucks to me. I hate all this realignment. I miss the old Pac 12. Stanford and Cal being in the ACC is so dumb.

I think numbers will drop when they start choking teams out and only have their whatever number of teams they settle on. The main draw of cfb is the school affiliation and people allegiance to that particular school. When you kill off that draw and build pro league people will just watch pro ball which already exist. I think they will overplay their hand but will take time for people to realize.
Like when pac 12 was getting blown up it was shocking the amount of people who were in denial in that thread, so we are in the slow dog walk to have people realize, find whatever enjoyment you can as cfb disappears slowly
