Cant understand why he would need to pay taxes on something gifted to him

Idk what the cash limit is, but I think it's something like $17k/year (cumulative) and over you have to pay taxes on a cash gift(s)

Not sure if they're allow, but if so, These youngins need to set up LLC's & S-corps to get NIL so they can divert tax burdens. Lot of coaches salaries are paid to their LLC so the coach doesn't pay taxes on that, or as much taxes
