A lot of kids, especially the ones from FL, who went WVU only went there because their academic standards are legit bottom 5% in the nation. If you can fill out your name on the application without error, you're admitted. It would've made more sense for them to be in the ACC but that reason alone was why they were passed over. Same with UConn. That and the fact their football stadium is Coral Gables status distance from campus wise, capacity of 36k, and their admin and boosters really don't care about football.
