No I’m saying in college, nfl when it’s all said and done was carving nikkas up, despite a few bad seasons and playoff runs, but that’s a discussion for another day
Oh, Well that's just cause of his last name. I didn't think Eli was so great in college either but that last name give them MFs that boost same we saw with Arch coming out of HS after getting molly whopped in the playoffs and skipping the high competition camps.

:what::what::what: wym breh? There's a reason he went #1. Could've won the Heisman too and no one would've been mad

:yeshrug:

The team that was actually good they always lost to, including that like 96 season they lost to Memphis, Tennessee was big boying the weak east, uga wasn’t bout nothing and Bama was long removed from 92

No I’m quite sober

But we can talk it out if you like

Lil woadie, all of the scouts were saying he was pro ready by his soph yr. The man was fukkin' quizzing/telling the scouts where THEY (whatever org they was associated wit) fukked up in a playoff game when they would go visit him on campus. Winning 18 out of 20 games when coming on as a freshman? When they held a panel of 5-6 people (including Bill Walsh mind you) to analyze Peygoat & Leaf, they all picked Manning. Man was in dem Tenn-a-key rooms watching film longer than the OC. What is your definition of can't miss?

What we talkin about big dog?

Ehhh there's a lot of great players that couldn't get over certain humps in college

Peyton/Florida
Andrew Luck/Oregon
Fournette/Bama
Cedric Benson/Oklahoma
Shid prior to the last 3 years, You could've said it about every great Michigan player the past 10-15 years vs Ohio State

That's more on the coaches than the players.

Like i said earlier to whips, to me it was him struggling with Florida, i mean the sec wasn’t what it is today, so the only team with a pulse had him in a blender so it’s like how was he can’t miss i thought he’d be solid to great but def didn’t think he’d be that nikka, i mean i was young too so keep that in mind. Ironically New England was his nfl Florida

GOAT comeback and getting over the hump moment in sports :banderas:

Could put Jordan/Bad Boy Pistons there too.

For college, I'd say

LSU getting past Bama in 2019
Michigan getting past OSU in 2021
Texas getting past OU in 05
And you could probably add UGA vs Bama in that most recent National title game

I thought luck beat Oregon

Def i understand your point, but as a qb i halfway expect you to rock your conference boogie man once

We produced a lot of talent over that osu run, but none of them was can’t miss

But then again most of the qbs that end up being that nikka, are rarely from a power so i guess that’s not something to hold Peyton against, but again this was young drop top

Nah, Luck and Harbaugh never beat em.

Edit: You right, They beat em in 09 but had like 4 other Ls that season so it got overlooked vs the next 2 years when the conference/natty chances were on the line.

But Shaw and I think Kevin Hogan knocked em off two straight years and ruined their seasons.
