If they want to and the coach allows them to they can. But I really think the timing of the transfer portal fukks a lot of these kids. More times than not they are faced with a take it or lose it offer, what are they supposed to do if there team is still in the playoffs, no guarantee a better offer will come afterwards so they gotta take it.
