This makes sense. They left Bama out as they should've since Clemson beat SMU, but they were never going to have a bracket where Boise and SMU would have a puncher's chance to meet in the semis or finals.

Miami fans can be mad, but don't have a legit beef. Bama fans are gonna Bama fan along with SEC fans, but the SEC ain't it this year. If Georgia gets into a game where it's a bit of a track meet their offense is cooked and Texas is gonna Texas. I hope Boise State takes it all.

Why do you fight for 6 or 7th place at best every year when basically going forward you only gotta go thru Boise and maybe Washington St for a playoff bid

UNLV is staying in the stripped down Mountain West. Washington State and Boise will be in the new Pac 12 in '26. They should've accepted the new Pac 12 invite. As of right now, all signs point to them being a one hit wonder. Plus no coach is turning down a Big Ten job, big or small, in this day and age. That conference and its programs are going to be swimming in money.
