He's done that less times than Mark Dantonio at a supposed top 10 program. Also, while Nebraska is a historically better program than PSU, PSU has been much more consistent the last 15-20 years. More pros, better recruiting, more revenue, etc..
I don't think Franklin is bad, he's clearly a good coach. But he's not elite, and he'll never win a national title which is what PSU wants to get back to. Maybe they're looking at Nebraska and saying "okay hey, we'll take the annual OSU loss if it means winning 10+ games"

Hmmm...why would Shark fukker "retire" as it's now been confirmed that Stallions was on CMU's sidelines under his watch...of course Stallions was wearing official CMU staff gear he could only get with cooperation from their staff.
