You know he meant they get talent, the number is 49 to osu 64, but we understand it’s been some talent in happy valley

Keep in mind iowa has 42, i know you don’t consider them on psu level…. Or should we

So the only team they lost to........Is the team with more talent them. Interesting :jbhmm:

Their biggest rival is OSU. And that's the program they want to be. Now, OSU will be the more talented team every time but 1-10 is awful.

Sherrone Moore on the fly managed to beat both PSU and OSU

Franklin is a good to great coach but he's not elite and he's not going to get them in serious title contention (actually winning it or playing for it).

Dantonio beat Urban's OSU that was 24-0 and then again when they were defending champs, and he did it with far less talent on the roster than what PSU is fielding. It can be done

When he got Kansas oc i mean that’s as dynamic as you can get, never mind he ran off ol boy who’s at Akron idk what franklins issue, if he’s not letting them cook or what but dude is part of the problem
I don't that is as dynamic as it can gets and the results on the field reflect that. But I wasn't high on dude at Kansas either. Offense looks as pedestrian as it has been in past years. But I agree maybe that is on Franklin for meddling. He is the common denominator.

Ohio State had that exact same record vs their actual biggest rival prior to the last 3 years.

That was Harbaugh.

They'd be in the playoffs today and finished top 12 the previous 3-4 seasons as well.

Then he ran away....

That’s a one sided rivalry, osu don’t give af about Psu,

Dantonio had one of the best defensive staffs on paper, they beat their ass cuz they thought shyt was sweet they also made it a sloppy game and osu couldn’t help it

Their offense had them beat a lot of teams, with psu talent they should be 10 times better

@smitty22 can tell you what the difference was those 3 years.

All I'm saying is Franklin needs to beat OSU on some sort of basis that is better than 9%.

I think 1 out of 4 tries is reasonable

All the more reason PSU should have more wins. If that's the biggest game on their schedule and osu is more concerned with mich and Oregon to gaf, then PSU should win more than once every 11 tries

I don't disagree, I just dislike discrediting the rest of the job he's doing.

Fair. I think this game for Franklin is like Michigan for day. Day has done just about everything else right. Was a fg away from a title in 22 (they would've killed tcu), but that record vs Michigan is what people are getting anxious about

I won't even count that Oregon game against day. Yes it was winnable but on the road vs who is now the #1 team and you're a play or two away is still good

I think that was clearly a Harbaugh issue more than a Michigan issue. If he loses this year then yeah his seat gotta be on inferno :hubie:

I'll end it on this, My whole point was that the elite teams are who are they for a reason and with that comes dominance over others.

Bama beat Tenn 15 times in a row from 07-2021
Georgia is 11-1 vs Auburn in the last 12
We smacked ND 9 years straight when Pete was here
etc.

@Silkk it’s a reason there is a noa sitting on the coach who doesn’t see color desk. :oHumad:
