At this point, can we as a CFB community, fans and analysts alike, please stop giving these nikkas a top ten preseason ranking? They can never hang with the top dogs of the conference. If Michigan, Ohio, even MSU have a top 10 team, you can count on them beating Penn State.

It will never happen, the thing that was supposed to counter that was the committee, but they give points to rankings even if the team wasn’t good

That happened 3 years ago in Dan Mullen's last year.

They were ranked in the 40s-50s and losing recruits left and right.

Yeah FSU still got a better recruiting class than us this year at the moment!

15/16 in the SEC, only ahead of Vandy.

Napier did do some good things but overall made too many mistakes early that burned good will and is always too little too late.

We have money, but boosters aren't bought in on Napier.

We not Texas or any thing like that, but if Ole miss can pool together money, a program like UF which is the flagship program of the 3rd largest state, and at one time had a bit of national appeal (in the Spurrier and Meyer days...I grew up in Ny and know a lot of people in NY who were UF fans with no affiliation with the school) should have not no issue having a competent NIL program.

Issue is no one is bought into Napier any more, so no one is opening up the check book.
