He's probably going to play good enough to keep his starting spot this year, but he probably needs another year which is where the awkward situation comes into play b/c he's not going to be the starter next year. He's going to leave and be a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

With a bye week coming up, if Ewers plays poorly again today it might be the end of his Texas career.

The Georgia tape exposed him as the cause of a lot of the protection issues on offense and honestly he wasn’t playing that great even in the weeks prior. Dude is in danger of going from a 1st round pick lock to finishing his college career at another school if Arch is forced to take over again.

That being said, I expect him to bounce back today.

So far, he's looking good today.
