Auburn is on another level this year with 16 Quad 1 wins (16-2 vs. Quad 1) which is fukking insane.
MSU, Bama, Tenn all have 10 Quad 1 wins.
Always respected Izzo and the Spartans, but when I be tryna finish watching their games before I have to go somewhere, he always calls those random timeouts with a couple minutes left in the half/game

Which is funny b/c Izzo treats his timeouts like diamonds. There's been so many times (less this year) where another team will go on a huge run and I'm begging him to take a TO to stop the bleeding and he'll wait til a media timeout, meanwhile the other team went on a 16-2 run...Always respected Izzo and the Spartans, but when I be tryna finish watching their games before I have to go somewhere, he always calls those random timeouts with a couple minutes left in the half/game
But there are games where other coaches burn their TOs and it bites them in the ass, Maryland called their final TO with 5 minutes left in the second half, and then on their final possession they didn't have one to regroup.
I see Buckeyes are #34 in NET, should be in barring some awful loss in the BTT. Nebraska is a dub (they've been collapsing), and even with an @IU loss, OSU should be good with 14 losses (15 makes it REAL difficult), but will have to win at least 1 game in BTT.
Yep. I noticed that. Izzo rather have his teams fight through a bad stretch and save his timeouts for crunch time.
Sports have changed so much, that I like that we still have Izzo at MSU and them still being a threat in March.

If MSU wins the conference idgaf about the B1GT. Winning that shyt has never helped our seeding. Unless we are playing scUM I'd rather get a loss, rest and regroup for the big dance

I think they rest for the A&M game, try to fry Alabama to close out the year, and half measure the SECT games. Like if someone is banged up, I don’t see them playing their full allotment of minutes.
People think it’s just coach speak, but Pearl prob is right that we aren’t a cemented #1 overall. I think if we finish with more losses than Duke, they’ll fukk us. So we can’t sandbag too many games.
