This the deepest and most talented team Hurley has had since he's been at UConn, record wise they'll probably be more in line with the 2023 title team since they are depending on younger players to step up and plug holes
What’s their lineup and bench gonna look like? If McNeeley is a star as a freshman then you might be right but Clingan was a cheat code at the college level. At least he’s gone. This the deepest and most talented team Hurley has had since he's been at UConn, record wise they'll probably be more in line with the 2023 title team since they are depending on younger players to step up and plug holes

Yea that FC is loaded but no one as dominant as Clingan and I’m still not sure about the backcourt. Hurley will have them top 5 for sure though.Startling line-up last night was Hassan Diarra(PG), Solomon Ball(SG), Liam McNeeley(SF), Alex Karaban(PF), Samson Johnson(C)
Bench/Immediate Subs: Aidan Mahaney(CG), Jayden Ross(SG/SF), Jaylin Stewart(SF/PF), Tarris Reed(C)
Karaban has been a starter on both title teams and this should be his last year, decided to come back because he was borderline first rounder/high 2nd round. Diarra won Big East 6th man of the year last year and is now starting and Johnson backed up Clingan and started when he was injured. Mahaney was a 2 year starter for a top 25 St Mary's team and Reed started for Michigan last year. McNeeley should be one and done and Ball/Stewart/Ross were 4 star recruits in the same class with Stephon Castle but didn't play much last year but had their moments(Ball scored in dbl figures vs UNC at MSG in a dbl digit win). If that sophomore class has leveled up they should be top 5-top 10 again this year. Top to bottom Hurley hasn't had this many top 100 recruits on the same roster since he's been there.
