Why is St Johns so popular in NY? Ain’t this shyt a catholic school
The connection between NYC Basketball and the Catholic Church runs hella deep. The Catholic Church spent decades offering sports but Football was way too expensive so they went all in on Basketball.

All the Catholic schools (St Lutheran, Archbishop Molloy, Christ the King, Holy Cross, etc) have massive Basketball program histories.

Secondly, NYC has a very very very very deep Catholic population so when St John’s surpassed city college and become the Defacto program in the 60’s the Catholic community followed

I don't think we're dog shyt by any means breh. I don't think we matchup well with them specifically. Tenn matches up better with them just because they got a better defense, but they also got so little ways they can score. Houston and Duke are at least currently considered better than them and we matchup better with them than FL.

Styles make fights overall. If you got 4 legit options to play at the 4/5, you're probably going to handle Auburn as this team is currently playing. They got that

Their front court is definitely better. But we got blown out by nobody this year. Closest was Florida, I just know there will be a different strategy by Bruce if we see them again. Have to remember their coach has been on Bruce's staff.

The regular season is about going straight up and seeing who has more talent. The postseason is a chess match.

You usually slow the game down against teams you don't want to run with. Teams like bama lack that ability. They have one speed. Florida loves to run. You play half court games against them.

The Vatican has a hand in the propaganda they use to push Roman Catholic institutions in America. Basketball being an American sport was easy for them.

Most of the schools that get the hype are Roman Catholic, or Jesuit, or connected to some Free Mason organization.
