I see some positives from Liverpool.

VVD and Konate have done well.
If Salah can get the ball with time, turn and look for a pass into the box Madrid might be in trouble.
Mane needs to connect better with Diaz. If Mane can get a shot off in the box it might be over.
Carvajal has been mugging Diaz on every opportunity down that side, if Diaz gets in the box Carvajal may give up a pen.

Second half if where we see the tired legs, if Liverpool scores they may sit on it, they got the defense for it.

I don't buy that explanation. Konate plays the ball it hits Fabinho who plays it back but it even brushes Konate again on it's way back to Benzema.

If Valverde plays the ball which deflects off Fabinho to Benzema then I would accept. But this is just nonsense interpretation of the rule.
