well considering they made the final 4 last year and have a lot of the same DNA that goes without saying
but to say theyve looked like a final 4 team all year is a bit of an overstatement. they had one of the worst schedules / strength of resumes of all ranked teams

It didn't matter about the schedule. You can look at this team and see they have potential for a good season.

Naw I disagree, big 10 is one of the harder conferences and the Illini have had some terrible teams in the past decade. I'm not gonna let an early exit ruin all the fun down in Champaign that I got to watch this year. These past couple of years have been fun and you couldn't say that for Illini basketball for a minute

wisconsin is the real champ in my opinion. look at their schedule in the big ten compared to illinois and come back to me

Durant is a freak athlete but Holmgren is a better creator and passer than Durant was coming out of college. Holmgren is already a better rebounder and defender.

I don’t think Holmgren is going to be amazing because he isn’t quick like Durant was, but I think dude is at least an all star player.

Holmgren better be a better passer cuz he’s not gonna find his shot as easily as Durant has. But again, I don’t worry about Holmgren on offence, I worry about him not being a walking mismatch on D. If he’s able to focus on weakside rim protection then maybe it works out for me, but guarding straight up in the paint or on the perimeter, I do worry.
