The jaden hardy slander is so weird. I know what the numbers say especially the FG%. But he showed something out there especially at the end. I hope he lands in Miami. It might be better for him to land with a win now team and come off the bench and give them something. I love players that play with confidence regardless of the %.

Him not playing in the 5 on 5 was so stupid considering that’s a setting he would dominate.

If I’m reading the tea leaves correctly it seems like Portland wants to use that 7th overall pick to get O.G anouby and use the extra draft capital Toronto gives them to then trade for Jeremi Grant.

So a lineup of Nurkic, Grant, O.G, Hart & Lillard with Ant of the bench.

That lineup inspires no fear at all, although they'd be much better defensively which isn't saying much.

I'll drop a 2 round mock tomorrow.

He's tough to gauge but 17-29 is his range to me. I'm trying to think of guys who probably had top 5 level rankings in mocks, watched their stocks fall big time and still salvage their careers. Most of the time when you fall off that much, we find out early on that there was a reason for it. Hardy should be at every workout showing everyone he can run point and that the shot was just a blip on some Maxey shyt, cuz teams are looking for reasons to not take guys like TyTy and Kennedy Chandler.

The guy who might benefit is Michael Foster because at least he's made himself available for teams.

Spoiler:

I don't see Lofton getting picked. I also think I'd drafted and stashed too many people for a weak Euro class, so something to revise.

Rollins and Moore are HARD to lock down a spot. Initially I had Rollins as a late first, but he's this year's Jared Butler /Jason Preston., so if last year is an indicator, he's early round 2.

Wendell Moore on face value looks like a first rounder. I'm not sure he makes it there because Jake LaRavia has the juice right now. Also, guys like Braun and Roddy and to a lesser extent, Kendall Brown and Houstan (who in a perfect world, shouldn't be drafted) are all making that wing spot a little more crowded.

You think Kenny and Scottie Pippen jr go undrafted?

Domestic recruits should think twice about going to the g league ignite. So many of their prospects dropped off the draft radar when they could've played more and better in college (Nix, Hardy, Foster). They surrounded the kids with a bunch of chuckers and slow bigs this year and that didn't help anything. They're fortunate that Dyson Daniels and Beauchamp got some buzz this year.

Hollinger released his Top 75 prospect rankings, includes a brief write-up on each player. Seems to be unlocked, so anyone should be able to read it.

Who do you think is going to be the best out of the top 3 guys? And who do you think will be bottom 3 again next year?
I'm a Chet guy out of the top 3. Zig when others zag. He has unique skills that the right team can maximize.

The tank for Wembanyama is gonna be interesting. Probably OKC dives in if the year doesn't go the way they want it. Maybe Houston, Sacramento, San Antonio, Utah if they blow it all up.

A lot has to happen for that to be determined now, but for some teams, they're only banking on internal improvement and this draft to improve, so we might see some of these teams back up here again.
