fukk the FCS playoffs. They’ve been treating HBCUs like trash for decades. Even if a HBCU went undefeated they gave us a lower seed and had us playing in fukkin Montana or North Dakota in front of 700 folks.

The Celebration Bowl is a bigger payout, has more exposure, & has more attendance than the FCS playoffs.

In theory and in one off situations from past years, you are correct. But in this case, If Jackson State was a Top 8 seed, they would be guaranteed at least one home game (which would be more payout, and attendance), and the eyes on Deion being the coach would take care of the exposure (they already have all of their games being replayed on ESPNU).

So normally you are right, they dont give a shyt about HBCUs but Deion beings a special case, which is why i asked the question about this season.
