Schooling people takes forever; don't bother
damn, i don't think Georgia Tech cares about football since the 90s when they claimed their last national title

lane kiffin on the other hand is channeling his inner nick saban 'rat poison' motto by playing up to their potential instead of down to their opponent (while still being a troll and going on 4th down instead of giving his opponent a chance or working on special teams)

Georgia Tech always looked undersized vs their Georgia counterparts for years and GT always do those diving below the knee tackles that can cause injury if your leg doesn't pivot against the collision correctly

this is an old conversation but there should be a "southern ivy conference" for those schools that actually care about academics when recruiting (undersized) players so that they can play against similar competition and not "tackle scared" all the time, then there wouldn't be these random blowout games that look bad for the conference and are just otherwise in-conference cupcake games

GT, Duke, Rice, SMU, and Vanderbilt, etc just squat in their power 5 conferences because of the money and they drive up the average GPA for their conference, but they could easily create their southern ivy conference and just play each other and actually develop good football fundamentals without scheduled in to face powerhouse behemoths all the time

invite all these random southern schools to form their southern ivy conference and we might have closer games to actually tune in and watch, etc, and that would also free up the SEC/ACC space to sign other schools who care more about football
