This Coach O media run has been GREAT :russ:

The importance of money will probably increase over time now that NIL exists but for say, the past decade, I can't place too much emphasis on it being that no matter if a university was spreading change around or not, highly improbable that a dominant amount of the team was reaping the benefits as opposed to 3-5 players per cycle, if that.

These mfs trying to go to the league where the money is going to be 10x whatever they can get on the collegiate level (before NIL). And winning contributes to that because all eyes are on the winners.

It's no coincidence that the majority of schools on the list above are consistently Top 5 or Top 10 in recruiting year in and year out. Players see certain places as a fast track to the league and know their odds increase being over in State College vs Pittsburgh playing for Pitt. Give Pitt a little money to play with (before NIL) and see if a player still don't give a fukk about going there cuz they aint sending nikkas to the league but only occasionally to get that set fa life bag.

Columbus and A2 are one in the same, no one ever said you know where i want to live… either of those. It’s the program that brings the population

No one will CHOOSE it with choices presented in front of them obviously, but a reoccurring theme I always hear from mfs who either never been here before, or left and ain't been back in a long time, they always say it's not what they were expecting, but in a good way. They don't expect the population or city itself to be as big. They dont expect their to be as many kicking it options as there is no matter what your taste is.

That being said, i still don't think location rings too much on the richter scale as far as recruiting. Mfs will go to West Bubbafukk out in Georgia or wherever Clemson at or scum Arbor somewhere if they got a shot at the league.

It’s a college town, when you18-21you just need spots to hang, and college towns will have that, but yeah a towns a town, with the exception of a few spots being down or up

I feel like the money gets kids there, there was a time you all didn’t get a bunch of Florida, California and Texas kids, the program being good gets kids there, but what makes you creme de La creme aka Death Star is the game changers, sometimes they want to come on gp, often times you gotta open up the wallet, the wallet is what gets you elite, the winning and wallet maintains it over the years, and it’s not easy, There was rumbles that Texas A&M can’t year in and out maintain that level of recruiting to get the number 1 class

looking at the rankings, Michigan, Iowa, Notre Dame and Florida is not a Death Star program

Just read up on this a little bit. Whole situation seems a bit strange. Can't see this not affecting what happens on the field / in the locker room moving forward for the upcoming year.

Bullet points
He never harassed a girl
He thought he could just be a football coach and not have to navigate the politics of being auburns HC
The two factions of auburns money are not United and he managed to not have friends on either side
The football players didn't like him
He didn't win
Recruited bad
Alienated local media
Snubbed going to booster events including Bo's golf tournament

They are fukking their recruiting
