Idk Gabriel, Wease, Mims, Gray and a great OL seems like a good offense to me lol. Bowman and Lawrence are the only high ranked recruit you have on defense most of them were in the 80s and low 90s that I looked up. I like Bowman and Lawrence at safety but still look weak at corner and will defitely get exposed there. And your front 7 looks solid at best, don't see any studs there. Reggie Grimes is garbo

Oklahoma State DL is still gonna be stout though. They lost 6 starters on defense but bring back 14 guys that played meaningful snaps and they brought in Derek Mason so their defense should be fine. Yea Sanders hasn't been great but experience matters, if he takes any kind of leap then I think OSU has the best team. But they gotta play Baylor and OU on the road so eh.

Our OL was wack last year. I can't call them great until I see it. But that could've also been Riley's scheme making them look bad last year.

Lawrence was a transfer last year, our CB are gonna be good. DL is a strength but not to Bama level.

My advice is don't go by those ratings . They may give you a decent idea about 30% of the time

They are really good, and gave a lot of teams fits, it can in theory only get better with Ohio st talent, but first year implementation can be tricky, we shall see, i posted the break down of the defense in my making a better football fan thread

I think your OL will be nice this year with Harrison and Morris growing up.

Like I said, y'all have 2 really good safeties and you have some depth on the DL but no one special. But CBs, ILBs definitely gonna be weak. Especially against a top team.

Yea idc about ratings, Okie State and Baylor don't have any top ranked guys but still have good defenses. It's more about having the same guys in a system for 2-3 years. I just don't think Venables will fix the defense in one offseason but by year 2,3 OU's defense should be humming.
