Again, this gap had been growing wider and wider for years. Getting blown out by 30 in 2018 and 2019. 2020 was the worst of the Chester era and probably would have lost by 40 or more if y’all didn’t . One game changes the course of everything that is right in your face? Hell, Auburn gets more wins against Alabama in the Saban era than y’all have against OSU, and nobody is crazy enough to say they’re on Alabama’s level. shyt was a one game fairytale fluke and you’re acting like this is gonna be a yearly thing now. Y’all won your first conference title in TWENTY years. TWENTY. In that same timeframe, OSU won it twelve times. There’s a reason for that, and it’s somewhere in the “stars and rankings” conversation. But keep thinking a one year anomaly is the norm.

Looks like the Michigan Ohio State rivalry is still as healthy as ever on here.Alabama and Auburn use to be like that but somewhere along the way Auburn just lost the energy to keep going and wasn't able to climb that mountain any more.*places hat over heart*

Funny you say Day ain’t it, yet has been in the playoffs twice in three years as head coach (took Chester 7 years to make it once), and been to the national championship game (something Chester hasn’t done). You have some mighty high expectations for OSU if that’s a failure. Far more than you have for scUM.

In Day’s three years, we had the number one defense in the country and the best rushing offense in the Power 5 in 2019, and a top 6 rush defense and a RB that was setting school rushing records until he got hurt in the first play of the national championship game in 2020.
