Apparently Tenn dropped the BAG bag for him. We thought we had a decent shot since his dad played at Michigan.. but it became clear our NIL isn't anywhere near where it needs to be. I hope we keep losing kids because something's gotta give.

Fam.. I wrote this in a thread a couple days back.. I just cant remember which one. Basically.. we've got 4-5 HUGE donors ready to make it rain for these kids.. but Michigan THEMSELVES (admissions and ethics) are threatening banning donors if they make ANY moves, until UM crosses all the T's and dots all the I's. Basically UM wants to be squeaky clean off rip. And while I get that.. I can guarantee that if any school might be doing something wrong.. we're still in the infant stages of NIL, so there's not gonna be any discipline handed down. To anyone. Everyone understands that.. but UM can't get out of their way breh. We legit lost Dante Moore to Oregon because the school wouldn't let the donors cook.
Now, I agree that paying kids, and guaranteeing them all this money isn't sustainable.. there's no reason to not do what others are doing (especially when you've got the financial backing) and then adapt to the rules as they all become more clear.
Yea we were waiting for the flip too. I wonder if NIL played a part in it. I wouldn't be surprised.

Odd, so it’s like UM is operating as if NIL is under control, that’s a mistake cause you don’t get rewarded playing by the book, especially today, you instead risk letting programs lap you. I figured there had to be donors willing to write a blank check, Michigan is one of the top schools in the country and one of the biggest brands in CFB. Like you said though, most of these top schools are cheating the system, now more than ever because the guidelines are not very clear and there’s no punishment. Best to get while the gettings good and that’s what schools like Miami, Tennessee, and A&M are doing and I don’t blame them one bit.
