I’m pretty sure Kentucky basketball makes money

Yea but they make more money from SEC revenue aka football money. And that is about to go up with all these new TV deals(for football) coming after next year. College basketball doesn't make money like college football is his point i think.

@Toussaint i can see where ND figures a way to slow down that passing attack mixed in with early season bugs still getting worked out, freeman is a Defensive guy by trade so if you think he hasn’t gotten his guys up for this then you have another thing coming

The basketball team has always been the bread winner with little money moved towards the football team as a whole, yeah I’m sure the sec money has helped improve facilities and gotten lil stoops more money for coordinators but they aren’t humming along like the big dogs in the conference

The SEC will start making a billion dollars in revenue with the new TV deal and when they add Texas+Oklahoma in a few years. That gets divided up evenly among the SEC teams. That alone is more than UK would make from just basketball

That’s certainly possible. Notre Dame may have a top 10 defense and OSU one weakness last year was physical football. That said Jaxon Smith Njigba might be the best receiver in college football and Marvin Harrison Jr isn’t far behind. Stroud might be the best Qb and Treyveon Henderson will get some Heisman buzz this year too. The line will have several NFL players on it. That Buckeye crowd is going to rabid. Tough ask first day on the job.

I can see a situation where they try to confuse stroud early, days system is so good they don’t have to read past the first read, when he had to pat the ball is when he started messing up, let’s see what happens if freeman does that to his first And second read

They will get a bigger cut, but will it change anything?? And if you think a school like Kentucky won’t inject a large portion into basketball you are crazy, basketball is king there, thus they brought in the most money, and yes in a couple years it will be probably even how much they bring in
