Their fan base is massive, their campus is massive, facilities are massive, and as a % their fanbase is very successful in engineering, agriculture and petro fields.

With all that, they have still felt inferior to texas for years, and now NIL is their golden opportunity to step up due to their fan base . Jimbo knew what he was doing ging there. Kevin Sumlin revitalized the program but he plateaud.

Who's the biggest underachiever on this list?

A&M, Texas, Miami, and UNC

It’s actually pretty amazing that Miami has somewhat maintained a strong brand despite the people in charge not seeming to care about the program at times but it goes to show what those 80s and early 2000s teams meant for the people down in south Florida.

UNC, it crazy because they haven’t really done anything under Mack Brown, they underachieved like crazy when Sam Howell was there, you’d think that they would be on Clemson’s heels (no pun intended) by now.

Of the top 10 it’s UT and aTm. Not sure aTm has accomplished anything besides beat Bama twice.

Penn State massively underachieves year in and out.

Not sure that I’ve ever heard of unc football as a “brand” and ole miss at #15 is laughable, literally no one outside of MS knows anything about them beyond racist history.

They have brought in talent but it’s not enough, and when things were coming together they talent graduated to the nfl
