The biggest issue is the people that run uga also run tech and as long as there’s that, they won’t allow any advantages to tech, the high admission standards isn’t even the issue, Andy staples said it’s harder to get into Stanford than tech, but not having any easy major and having to take calculus freshman year is a detriment,their schedule continues to be their downfall, rather than making it easy, they go out their way to create a harder one, the right young assistant cutting their teeth is their next move also they aren’t recruiting well in the surrounding areas
