Would like more context, as in similar in what way(s)?

It’s def similar in that your team has to the potential to play 3 other top 10 ish ranked teams, with one of those teams being top 4.

I’d say outside of OSU, they’re not all that similar on a position to position talent bases.

Big Ten East is def a rough division.

Obviously the top in the sec can’t necessarily be matched (uga/Bama) but no one outside of current Death Star programs (Clemson, osu, Oklahoma, lsu should be back in the mix soon) are going to fukk with those two, but msu, Michigan, and psu can fight with most other programs in their current iteration in the sec. Also understand no other conference has a murders row in the same division outside of the sec west, that’s all, people are conflating their bias instead of objectively looking at this statement and understand it

He ain't goin to LSU fam..

Where was this? Tigerdroppings? Or another LSU site? What's he supposed to say?

I haven't heard of Moore's dad wanting the bag. I'm a member of all 3 Michigan sites, MgoBlog and I follow a good amount of insiders on twitter, and no ones mentioned anything about that. Not saying its not true, just saying that if I haven't come across any of that talk on any of those platforms, then I find it hard to believe.

Moore's recruitment is gonna end up being just like Donovan Edwards'

Outside of the 19 squad i couldn’t tell you the last breakout wr at lsu ( i understand juice and obj, but they shined inspite of les ineptitude, which doesn’t get talked about enough how he blew them twos talent) i get Kelly has won a lot but Floyd, clay pool and i forget the other guy, he stays hurt, but he was good, was playing for the Texans. Kelly hasn’t exactly cranked out wrs at a high clip in his offense, so honestly it’s to be determined but nothing about lsu will make a qb be like yo them boys cookin down there

So you put more weight on what an insider is sayin than what the actual person is saying?

Kayson Boutte is a projected 1st rounder and it’s not just LSU it’s Louisiana receivers in general in the last 3 drafts Jamarr Chase, Devonta smith, Justin Jefferson, Ceedee Lamb, Terrace Marshall all from Louisiana

Brian Thomas, Jack Bech, Chris Hilton are all up comer. Also Shelton Sampson from Baton rouge is in the same class as Moore and he’s a 5* receiver. Louisiana had a top 3 receiver last year but he flipped to Bama when coach O got fired

It kind of feels like you're takin this kinda personal.. and I dont know why. We could post recruit reactions from most kids (after their visits to whatever school) and it'll sound similar to what Moore said about his LSU visit. :yeshrug:

Taking it personal is saying Cj Carr wasn’t even that high on y’all board. You know how many times I’ve heard LSU fans say that when they lose out on a recruit

All our receivers were true freshman outside of Jaray Jenkins. You act like Louisiana receivers aren’t built different

In the modern era since 2001 3 wrs were all Americans

Since 2010
5 were all sec

Built different… y’all got 3 and a half (juice is good but not compared to the other 3) generational talents who were going to be studs no matter where they went and outside those three only two more have made all sec that’s not built different
Debatable
In no particular order, The 4th, 6th, 7th, and 15th ranked class 17-2020 are their recruiting ranking

So outside of Texas A&M and Alabama who’s had better ???

Baylor, and possibly Texas tech

Baylor is a solid program with a philosophy, they play hard defense run the ball and can air it a little bit, TTech because they have a new philosophy on recruiting the lesser knowns of Texas, he’s former Texas hs coach so he has cache with them and a network, they are taking kids with certain metrics, and are mining a lot of diamonds in the rough, so every 2-3 years they can make a push, and given the clear talent gap of those two leaving they could literally be the next big dog if they frame it right. I will say this I’m interested to see what Houston can do now that they are D1 and they can compete to be a national brand, you can expect a lot of big 12 programs to take a dip in their recruiting, because now they don’t have to go to Lubbock or Waco or Stillwater or the little apple or Lawernce to play D1 if Texas/Bama/lsu don’t come calling, if h town dumps money into this and work their ass off keeping kids in house, snipe a few kids from the Dallas metro plex and Oklahoma, and east Texas they can be a power

Do you have any idea how lukewarm Michigan's recruitment of Carr was? Add on top of that, he's a 2024. Not even a 2023.

I'll be the first to tell you that Michigan dropped the ball if we lose out on Moore. We've been on him since 7th grade.

That all American shyt don’t mean nothing at a school like LSU when one player isn’t being force fed the ball.
Early Doucet
Dwayne Bowe
Craig Davis
Skylar Green
Michael Clayton
Reuban randle
Jarvis Landry
OBJ
Russell Gage
Dj chark
Justin Jefferson
Jamarcus Chase
Terrace Marshall
Kayshon Boutte

Most these guys had great careers and were drafted high and that’s just at LSU, guys from Louisiana have gone to other schools and done great things.

:why:

All American ain’t nothing to sneeze at let’s not do that, guys can get drafted because of name on the front of the jersey and combine measurables, a db from Miami got drafted and i never heard of him, but he was 6’2 230, greg blue got drafted, and he was a lb disguised as a saftey, and probably in todays game he’d be tough, but that’s another story, most of these guys, that went to lsu had a cup of coffee in the league so being drafted is cool but also circumstantial. Beating up weaker comp and getting processed by the nfl in less than 5 years don’t make you different especially if said difference ain’t garner you all American or sec honors at the least

Ok since LSU ain’t putting out receivers like that do the schools he’s considering. Texas A&M, Michigan, Miami post the big name receivers from those schools since 2000 and Let’s see how they stack up

I could list them, but you just going to move the goal post rather than concede a point, the point is, 3 generational wrs have been in your building, outside of that, a couple good cats, no different than Michigan and tamu it’s not like every year y’all got some studs, Brian Kelly isn’t known for having lots wrs shine in his offense at nd 3 total, that i can think of, so something has to give, tbd
