Heres my question to everyone. Shouls the CFP be based on the 4 "best" teams or the 4 "most desersing" teams?
I think TCU deserves to make it over Bama but clearly Alabama would beat them fairly easily in a game. It's also fairly safe to say that TCU would be a significant underdog vs georgia, michigan and ohio state.
Is it fair to give Georgia a tougher matchup in Ohio State and give Michigan an easy OPP in TCU?
I think everyone just wamts to see SEC VS B10 semi finals anyway.
Honestly seesings does not mattee since your not playing home games anyway.

Michigan vs Bama in the Fiesta Bowl.
Who would object to that? Those are the 4 best teams in college this year

This year? I honestly don't know. This Bama team is the least dangerous Bama team in a really really long time.
I think it should be the team that most deserves it, but there's gotta be stipulations. Lets say for example Tulane wins the AAC and goes undefeated. If all they played was AAC teams, and teams from lower divisions.. then naa. If they add a top 25 team or two, and they beat them (like Cincinaatti last year).. AND go undefeated.. how can you leave them out?
I can understand somewhat where you're coming from, but at the same time if that happens, which I wouldn't be surprised you might as well call it the Big 10/SEC challenge at that point.
You'd pretty much be telling every team unless you're a blue blood program, you better go undefeated or you ain't getting a shot and even if you go undefeated, you still may not get a shot (looking at TCU back in 2014 I think when they went undefeated and dropped from 3rd in the rankings to 6th).
And that's why TCU jumped to the Big 12 so they can get the power 5 rep, but now with Texas and OU leaving, we'll see how long that lasts.
If you put Tulane in any P5 conference they would finish dead last in all of them. Having to play that type of comp week in and out would hace an effect on their play all year
