He’s going to have to do some campaigning, to help raise money and attention, Uab is at a pivotal point, they can’t afford to miss, but it’s like why reach for him with so many capable coaches around, in particular black coaches, btw they swung for your boy Mullen, who was like nah

He's helped usher in a lot of the new QB generation though with that Elite shyt. Alot of recognizable names are on tape with him. That's bought him a lot of goodwill, leverage and clout, valid or not. I think he's at least proven he deserves a shot to fall on his face though (or not).

He's always been one of those 'better coach than player' types obviously anyway. And at least he has some high school coaching experience in the age of NFL teams hiring former players w/o any coaching experience at all.

Both Day & Urban have these play staples that they hold onto that never really work except once in a blue moon (and mainly against inferior opponents) like Samuel Jackson holding onto Candie in Django.
