They never acknowledge this stuff they only put attention to the delusional preseason hype they get

theres literally zero excuse for Texas to not be a perennial top-10 team at the very least…

the money is there, there’s plenty of available talent, history is there, Austin is a dope city, NIL seems to be coming together.

Just doesn’t make sense to me, does the issue boil down to coaching and player development? What am I missing here?

04 was a different year, :manny: again i think they would have been a challenge, every year is a different scenario, hell in 05 they were calling that the best football team ever, and y’all ate it to Texas
Vince Young was arguably the greatest college football player ever and we still led them 38-26 with like 2 mins to go. Had Reggie not done that toss back it would’ve been a wrap. Refs also didn’t call Vince’s knee down late in the game when it was.


All that being said 04 Auburn was nowhere near either team and we would’ve mashed they ass just like we mashed on a MUCH better Oklahoma team.

I was gonna say, it took a Jesus in cleats type game and USC fukkery just to edge them out
