am I trippin or does UW have almost zero hardware to go w/ all those wins?
they lost all those rose bowls, they lost several big ten title games, sans 2011. No playoffs…
2nd in the big ten in wins the last decade and all they have to show is a 2011 conference title?
And I still don’t understand how PSU is so mediocre…a huge football region (PA/NJ) almost all to themselves and perennial 7-8 win team…

They don’t, but i brings up a couple points
some programs are ok with where they are, you aren’t competing for nc at uw, it’s a joy in winning, and having one of the best rushing attacks in cfb, and it not be boring to watch, they compete for a conference title, and are usually competitive in most match ups
Wisconsin been feasting on a weak big west, if we switch to the pod system them days may be over
no matter how much a program wins, some schools just aren’t going to turn into a powerhouse
Wisconsin knows what they are and recruit accordingly and don’t deviate
As for Psu, the sanctions hurt them,those are long gone, but as me and @Trust Me say, Franklin is ok to good at best, but he’s managed to fool most, and get praise, despite not being any better than harbaugh, yet they take Jim to the cross constantly. He keeps getting his contract extended and richer and he wasted Barkley, and has 1 conf chip despite all the talent that has come through happy valley, he will never get osu or msu or mich best shot because it’s not a rivalry, yes they get up for the games but you get what i mean
