Seiya Suzuki, OF, Hiroshima Toyo Carp, 27: For the past six seasons, Suzuki has been among the most productive players in Nippon Professional Baseball, hitting .300 every year, logging on-base averages well above 40% and hitting at least 25 home runs. This season has been a classic Suzuki year: .318/.434/.617, with a stellar right-field glove. While Suzuki wears the same No. 51 as future Hall of Famer Ichiro Suzuki, they’re not related. It’s not a certainty Suzuki gets posted, but if he does, he will be the best player to come from Japan since Shohei Ohtani – and the best outfielder since Hideki Matsui debuted in 2003.

I stated a fact that the Astros had the worst cheating scandal in MLB history, no matter how some of you want to spin in. No other cheating incident was close.

Pretty obvious Strom pointed out we were tipping pitches and once he figured that out the Red Sox couldn’t make adjustments in time to actually hit the ball. I think they were trying to continue to just hit home runs, Tony Gwynn rolling in his grave right now. Just make contact and get on base to apply pressure instead of trying to win games all by yourself :manny:

It’s possible…..we slot Bregman to ss (his original position) Gurriel to 3b (he was also an ss but he isn’t nearly as rangy as Correa, also when he spent some time at 3b he was pretty terrible but I just think he needs more time) and then that puts us in the market for a much cheaper but productive corner infielder (either 1b or 3b) and then we can get even more production from anyone in FA for outfield.
For people thinking our window is closing, all our pitchers are 27 and under, and all of our (should be returning) position players not named Altuve or Brantley are under 30 :mjlol:
