It's an interesting strategy by the Dodgers because the Giants tailor their lineup depending on if its an RHP or an LHP. Knebel is an RHP and Julio is a LHP

some guys in their lineup are trash against LHP like Lamonte Wade

however, they have guys who kill LHP:

Darin Ruf - 1.088 OPS
Evan Longoria - 1.088 OPS
Buster Posey - 1.051 OPS
Kris Bryant - .910 OPS
Austin Slater - .894 OPS
Wilmer Flores - .803 OPS

I'm fine with it

Thames is from the Kevin Long mindset philosophy of hitting coaches they've had since the late 2000's.

The current minor league hitting coordinator apparently doesn't fit into that philosophy.

I'm thinking that Dillion Lawson becomes thier next hitting coach with Rachel Balkovec becoming the assistant hitting coach.

Thames and P.J end up with the rest of thier buddies in Miami *marlins* & Nevin retires from baseball altogether. . No clue on who the 3rd base coach will be for the Yankees.

Re: Boone ... he's probably being offered a take it or leave it lowball deal. I'd give it a 40% chance he's back as the Yankees manager in 2022.

Re: Cashman , it's his roster but ill give him slack for damn near remaking the entire minor league organization top to bottom after Denbo left in 2019 that was more impressive than any move he's done in years.

Re: Anyltics , they should have a better grip next season with more concrete data to support which ever direction they choose to go compared to the winter of 2020 (covid year).

TL:DR... Outside of the obvious changes it all comes down to the Owner & wether he pushes past the LT limit or stays below it.
