I know how it goes. We’ll be back though. I never felt great about this team in the postseason either this season with how our bats can go ghost for long stretches and our bullpen never materialized into the dominant staff it was supposed to be. Also we couldn’t consistently beat good clubs. Rodon & Kopech both slowed down big time mid season. Kimbrel flopped terribly. And Cesar Herdandez flopped something serious too.

Now it’s gonna be on Jerry to spend to fill our holes which we all know he won’t do. We need a RF badly. And need to figure out if we pay Rodon or how to pay another FA starter.

If they don’t pay for a high level RF it would be criminal. It’s the final piece for this team right now.

Robert, Eloy, Cease, Vaughn all have new levels to reach. Question will be if Kopech can be a starter too, it’s hard to be convinced of that right now. But if Rodon is gone and Kuechel is finished he needs to deliver as a starter next to Lance, Gio, Cease.

If we got Hinch this all could have been very different too. What a missed opportunity. He would have got everything from this team for years.

Rick Hahn did a great job locking Robert, Timmy, Moncada, Eloy into very very club favorable long term deals. We have the core locked in for a solid 5 years.

tigers & royals have multiple top 30 prospects who will be up next year & dough to spend. Witt jr might be a top 5 prospect in mlb.Twins underachieved this season , white sox got one more year reign on the top gonna be short like leprechauns

He really is. Robert is gonna be MVP level type guy. Makes Moncada being good not great bareable. Especially since he’s on team friendly deal. We also need Eloy to turn into that 40 HR guy. Our secret weapon to replace Jose is Vaughn though. I think he can be a 290 / 30 HR guy like Abreu has been once he progresses
