this Yankees/Royals game was proof that baseball games will find a way to be long regardless of that extra inning rule

I dont care for the majority of barstool but their baseball coverage seems to be pretty good and they cover all teams better than ESPN. Obviously got some Sox/Yanks bias and Dallas Braden keeps the A's in the news but they love the game and they get players to give honest interviews which does help grow the game and show the personalities of the players.

Jomboy isnt watched by many casuals I imagine. Jomboy audience is probably a pretty dedicated baseball fan unless you truly only care about the lip reading which isnt that interesting if you arent a baseball fan. But the work they do is good but Barstool definitely has a casual audience and an audience who will take in anything barstool does because their fans feel pride in defending them at all costs :ehh:

ESPN is horrible. That's why I pay attention more to the MLB Network. Chris Castellani is another one I follow and gives fair assessments on teams. But for the majority he covers the Tigers the most.

They have some decent youtubers that do a good job at covering the MLB. I believe they demonetize them tho. I could wrong.

Black out games is the worst. I really don't understand their thinking

a bit surprising, you would think Burch Smith goes before JB. JB just doesnt have the bite on his breaking stuff this year, getting hit hard

Melvin runs a good pen, im sure Puk will get used in really low leverage situations for a minute. hes not jumping Diekman or Chafin

Do you guys got baseball podcasts you'd recommend? :jbhmm:
I don't listen to many of them. I prefer R2C2 with Ryan Rucco and CC Sabathia and I'm giving Call Him Papi a shot with Carrabis and David Ortiz. Jomboy and Pinstripe Strong are cool too but I don't listen to them all the time (mainly because I sometimes watch Joezmcfly on Twitch during games)

Offseason I may dive into another baseball centric pod if I have the time, but I may need to cut back on podcasts altogether or pick and choose my pods better because the content is overwhelming.

I like the Chris Rose/Trevor Plouffe daily IG show they do. I watch it on youtube. That and the Chris Rose Rotation also on youtube have fun player interviews. He has 6 current player rotate as co-hosts. It's made me a fan of guys like Steven Brault and Miguel Rojas. Tyler Glasnow is a really good guest he has and Giolito seems like a pretty good dude. They usually bring a teammate/friend on as a guest host so you get some good content that's more light hearted.

Other than that I just check fantasy baseball podcasts and prospect podcasts here and there but theres so much shyt out there and it just comes down to what you're looking for.
