Why? It’s a HR Derby where he has to hit so many pitches in a certain time. Of course he’s gassed.
They are probably concerned because he might injure himself swinging since he's working so hard
What does that have to do with Alonso, Soto and Ohtani being on the same side of the bracket? They could've put at least one of them on the other side of the bracket and kept AL vs. NL
they are seeded by how many Home Runs they hit in the Regular Season,
Ohtani probably murdering these kids in RF off camera with all these line drives

They based the seeding off of how many hrs were hit this season. Example, Alonso had the 5th most out of all the competitors.
