Bruh I disagree....Dabo isn't the reason... it was LSU, OK, ND, USC, FL, Oregon and MIA all having vacancies.
It was a miracle they all didn't bolt sooner. Brent doesn't leave at all if Lincoln doesn't dip. Elliott stayed bc he didn't want a Jeff Scott tier HC position.

This narrative is media dramatized. It seems bad bc both Coordinators left in a crazy off-season but both were expected to leave sooner than this.
Think about it... this may have been Dabo best coaching job...ever. This team never quit on him like other HCs had and the players you see leaving are bc they got beat out by younger talent. Those bad games early on wasn't bc Clemson was getting manhandled and out played... it was 11 players on offense being out of sync. (One play a guard pulls the wrong play...the next play a wr misses a block...the next play DJ throws the right read high.) If it was a certain player or 2 then that's one thing...but it was a rotation of 10 players plus injuries that kept things off. We won 5 games in a row averaging over 36ppg while holding opponents to 18ppg.
Clemson is 9-3 with a chance to win it's 10th game for 10 years in a row on what feels like a bad bad year.
