i like playing at home better honestly, if you are the better team you deserve a home championship, imagine having Alabama go to Athens it adds another element, or the big ten championship in 40 degree weather

No need. Not like any fans of teams in conference travel like that. Then turn around and asking them to pay to go to a bowl game too. Neutral sites only work for the big boys.

nah it ain’t little boy, it’s just a chance for a bunch of oblivious people to sit in nose bleeds, and clowns with bread to pay 3 racks for a seat, if I’m a school, i want it at my house, no travel for most of my fans, i get all the gate, concessions, sky boxes, parking, and my local economy booms, you think a sec game at Athens wouldn’t rock ?? In T town ?? And the school doesn’t have to pay for travel that’s probably saving the school 60-100k

Conference and affiliated schools don’t get their kickback from signing to play in a neutral site. SEC title game is worth major figures for the city of Atlanta. Like the AAC, if the demand was there, bet you they’d move the game to the Bengals stadium. But since it’s not play at the 40k on campus stadium guys. Plus it’s not the schools call where the game is held

Did you watch Kent St vs Northern Illinois today from a 2/3rds empty neutral site in Detroit earlier today? I think playing at Ford Field instead of a campus site looks more small time for these smaller conferences.

Only thing I'd probably change is make the home-field site a coin flip or alternate between the division winners.
