I think nikkas overstate how meh Boyd was. Like Clemson did have some skill position, but they wasn't batting like say, 2015-2018 CU. They were concretely behind FSU in talent, even, esp in the non-glamour positions.

I think Tony Elliot might be really meh as the sole OC (I think he's the sole guy now), but there's been a real problem with evaluating the OL and WRs for a minute now. Idk if it's star chasing or not, but you compare 2019 and 2020 CU's WRs to 2019 LSU or 2019-20 Bama or 19-20 OSU, and it's night and day. And that's their competition
