Didn’t like the linebacker play. Was critical of the corners but @MustafaSTL reminded me that both our starting corners didn’t play. Offense settled in nice the 2nd half. Overall i was pleased in the 1st game in that environment. O line was dominate loved that. Oh pissed that Day ain’t give Henderson every carry. Best back in the country .

Henderson will definitely get more carries moving forward but it ain’t like Williams did bad. He had over 100 yards in under 10 carries

Oh Williams balled out no doubt but Henderson is different . Master Teague is who he is. If you get him going east and west he’s going nowhere. Wish he only got carries in a break glass in case of emergency situation.

Yeah I just scrolled through ESPN for a second and they’re talking about our young corners need to step up against better competition, and all I kept thinking was that none of them should be playing if Sevyn and Cam are healthy. The LBs definitely need to play better. Zach’s strip sack reminded me of Chase. Hope he gets one of those per game.

Osu is continuing to be the leading employer of white LB’s, and what’s crazy you never hear anything about them, they just end up on the squad and starting, PJ lost a lot of talent so his initial punch was all he had, his plan was to lean that 6’6 300 plus line on y’all and when y’all started stoning them there was no counter, the rain helped and hurt you all as did Minnesota. On a lot of those runs, if the qb actually kept the ball he’d be butt naked for 15 yards. Can everyone relax on stroud first start, on the road, and it’s raining, i think he will be ok, long as the game doesn’t get away from him, i can see how he may struggle if he can’t operate in the system, a lot of his best throws came when he had 4 plus seconds that will not be the case in a few weeks when you play some teams with a pulse, and a DLine, that tackle only OL is going to be an issue too, but that run game is tops, and the young secondary did decent even though they really didn’t get challenged. Final thoughts, i can see you all leaning on the run game, there will be a few games you guys slide by, if a teams going to get y’all it will be this year, your LB’s and youngins in the secondary will be an issue in weeks to come

Linebacker play was so bad Steele Chambers actually got burn in the 4th. They kept missing tackles in the hole. Defense tackles played well. Vincent finally healthy and Antwan Jackson stepped up ( yes that Jackson @Sauce Dab. He still playing ) Haskell showed a little speed on that scoop and score . Zach gonna have a big year. Probably be a top 10 pick too. Minnesota controlled the clock with the run game so he didn’t get a ton of pass rushing opportunities. Good to see JTT getting in the game early too.
