USC Football runs the city, and it's not close. When UCLA Basketball is popping it's the same on that end. When it comes to filling up that stadium with UCLA fans/students one big issue is the Rose Bowl really being about an hour away from campus. That set up is crazy when you think about it
westwood is nice and all, but one of the disadvantages of being surrounded by rich people is they have actual power and UCLA will never have an on-campus stadium.

USC is 10-20 minutes away, have a 78k seating capacity and they have no trouble filling up the seats.

You’re spreading myths.College football hasn’t had the same allure in LA with both teams not performing up to expectations no matter what it is. Now, UCLA has gotten the worse of it, but today’s record low attendance was a few reasons:

- rose bowl announced mandatory masks for games two weeks ago. I know a few people who sold their tickets after that
- half the fanbase doesn’t believe in Chip Kelly and didn’t renew season tickets after 2019.
- it’s week 0 and students aren’t in school until week 4, so they were barely any in the student section
- it was hot (100+) and one of the reasons I didn’t go personally even though I was in town today. August/sept games can be unbearable at the rose bowl

Pre-COVID, USC in 2019 average its lowest number attendance in two decades and many Trojans are not planning on going until Helton is gone. You’ll see similar numbers, albeit a bit higher obviously, in the Coliseum next Saturday.

I won't be surprised if A&M wins the SEC soon. They are amassing serious talent in the trenches, and the kid they have committed to play QB is playing right now on ESPNU and looks amazing.

As an A&M alum, I’m doubtful. He’s playing against trash competition in that game. Let’s see it against a North Shore or Katy then I’ll buy in.

Better load up now too, bc when UT gets in the SEC, all recruiting advantages will disappear quickly.

The only one that did anything in the P5 was Matt Rhule

white Mike is a fraud

Scott frost came into a situation Jesus probably can’t change, kids ain’t trying to go to Nebraska, he can’t find a good qb(which is more colleges issue than you think) and it’s hard convincing fringe good kids, to pick Nebraska over more southern schools

Y’all ready for this show Thursday night? Y'all bout to witness the greatest offense in the history of college football. Book it

Hope y’all get smoked
