Riley has also been greatly figured out. All these close shootout games you saw OU in are bc after his initial scripted plays are done, he's clueless the next 2 qrtrs. And he finally regains understanding in the 4th qtr
USC fans are just happy about the hire. They aren’t trying to hear it.
Lincoln is a good coach, but very underwhelming in a lot of ways. His play calling is very predictable and he can’t call a game for 4 quarters. The offense was able to overcome his deficiencies as a play caller just due to being more talented then the other teams. This is not even hating, that’s just what it is.
Gundy’s play calling against Oregon was some of the best play calling I’ve seen in years. No exaggeration.
Some of Riley’s play calling is just befuddling.
USC fans will start to understand, unless he gets significantly better as a play caller, which I don’t see happening
