I was just a 4th grader and home on winter break watching this, I remember being excited that we poached a coach from the NFL (albeit a short stint), little did I know 6 titles would follow. Although I was bullish as hell cause I told a cac at a car dealership that we was gone with the National Title in 07 turns out I was two years off.

He thought he was a jerk.I was like..

I had already been a Saban fan.He would have those LSU practices live on ESPN and I could see the monster powerhouse he was creating then.I was 100% behind him winning multiple titles when he came on.I didn't think 6.The world still hasn't even reflected on his accomplishments or even broke the surface on it.His resume untouchable and he'll prolly coach who knows how long more.

Yeah, and I also I don’t think people truly grasp how much Saban turned around Alabama. Outside of 2002 and 2005, Alabama was a 6 win team in the 2000s, had to deal with the 3 Mikes that didn’t know wtf they were doing, Fran who dipped to A&M, multiple run ins with the NCAA, I mean it was a mess, he basically turned what FSU, Texas, and Tennessee are today and turned Alabama into a title contender in year 2 and went on to win 6 titles. I mean no matter what metric you wanna look at, this is a run that will never be duplicated and I guarantee that the ones that’s hating on it would love for their programs to “ruin College Football” too.
