Ended his chapter in that Sugar Bowl

He's not lying. The real losers are the kids who transfer thinking shyt sweet only to realize it's 2100 more of you to choose from.
The goal used to be to play sports to get a scholarship so you can get an higher education while getting a college experience & making lifetime friendships. If you were great at your sport...then you had a chance to make the Majors.
Now kids are bouncing around school to school... Basically being a new student each year ...hoping to stick.
Most of the time it's a lateral move at best. Example... Mike Jones Jr. He was slated to start this past season at Clemson....but transferred to LSU and literally put up the same stats he had his Soph season .... while the guy he would have started over had 50 more tackles an 1 more INT than him.
I'm not against the portal...but it does need to be some parameters to it bc it's going to end up hurting the High School players like Kittles mostly... who may have gotten a position before but now that slot goes to a kid who transferred twice in 4 yrs.
This is a very long arching topic, shyt changed when money and expectations changed, you can’t accept the benefits on one end and condemn the other aspect, how many kids at his program are forced into majors because it fits the football schedule, or that’s the only routes you allow, how many kids you’ve processed because a kids better and you need room, he wants it to be a business when it benefits him, but about education when it’s something eating at his empire
we can talk about benefits of scholarships but when you have a mass communication degree, because that’s all you could get, what job are you getting in our saturated job market, a college degree meant something in the 90’s not now, and you look up your are putting your body on the line to have years of issues later, with no benefits other than your degree that you probably can’t find a job in your field
