I don't feel confident about it, but I took the Canucks to win by -1 1/2 and -2 tonight.:pachaha:.

Give me a 5-1 Canucks win with a Houston Rockets win.:blessed:.

Starts can definitely make the Stanley Cup Finals though. I know that's not a crazy thing to say now considering they are in the Western Conference Finals now, but that team can score.

It's also good to see a team from a "non-traditional" market have success in the playoffs. The Stars have had success over the years, but it's great when you can see a team from Dallas have success and hopefully grow the game. I know not everyone enjoys hockey, but I think it has the best playoffs by far.:manny:.

I mean the fact they are players coming from Florida, California, Arizona, and Texas is proof that expansion to those markets worked. Atlanta didn’t work because of bad ownership and I know they will get a 3rd chance eventually.

It's definitely helped. The biggest issue with hockey expansion is it is not an inexpensive sport to play, and you don't have hundreds of rinks everywhere like you do basketball courts, soccer fields, football fields, baseball fields, etc.

That why I like that the Hockey Diversity Alliance is asking the NHL to do more grassroots hockey programs in inner cities in North America that take it cheaper to rent skates, sticks, and pucks. Honestly, NHL should work with the YMCA and Boys and Girls Club and set up rinks run by those organizations. Make it free for members to use and only have they pay for hockey training for a decent rate.
